So if I have, for example, two Chrome windows then I can cycle between them using Cmd+Tab. Witch lets you cycle windows, rather than just applications. Witch essentially gives me something as close as possible to Windows style Alt+Tab window switching behavior (but you can customize to do many other things). Personally I really can’t comprehend why the vanilla macOS Cmd+Tab functionality works the way it does. I don’t think I could use macOS without Witch. Witch is the best way to get proper window switching in macOS. Pro tip: pressing the shortcut multiple times cycles the window between half, third, and two thirds. Opt+Cmd+Left / Opt+Cmd+Right to place windows side-by-side.I really don’t understand the purpose of the macOS “fullscreen” feature, rather than the “maximize” behavior found in Windows.
